Quick & Easy Orange Chicken

Does anyone else get into a food rut? This seems to happen to me about once a month. Like how many ways can I make chicken and vegetables creative and interesting. Well for nights that dinner seems boring or you’re tired of the same old same old, I have some news for you.

Trader Joe’s Mandarin Orange Chicken.

I repeat: Trader Joe’s Mandarin Orange Chicken.

It’s in the freezer section, but don’t let that discourage you. It tastes amazing!

Here is how you make it:

Take out however much you want, and place on a baking sheet. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Cook for 18-20 minutes. While the chicken is in the oven, take a sauce packet and put it under water to thaw. Once its thawed put in a saucepan to heat.

Once the chicken was done, I just put it all in the sauce pan and mixed it until the chicken was coated with that delicious orange sauce.

I opted to serve mine over some brown jasmine rice. It was so yummy and quick to make.

I can definitely see this becoming a staple in my freezer. For nights when I don’t feel creative, just want something different, or if I have people over, this would be a great solution.

Be sure to try it soon and tell me what you think!
