Stila Magnificent Metals | Molten Midnight

Stila released the new Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow liquid eye shadow a couple of weeks ago. If I could I would probably purchase every color because this product is beautiful. But there was one color in particular that I was anxious to get my hands on – Molten Midnight

This color just spoke to me on another level. Its not the most practical color, I mean I can’t exactly wear a smokey eye to my office job. But this is a beautiful color. It has a rich black base with silver and gold glitter mixed in. The applicator is small enough you can use it to apply the product straight to the lid. It goes on smooth and opaque, not patchy at all. The edges are not the easiest to blend, but that can be said about any glitter product.

I knew i wanted to do a fun smokey eye with this shade. I was inspired by Desi Perkins and a smokey eye she created using this color. Here is my take on the look.

I used taupe, espresso, and black from my Lorac Pro palette for the crease.

Used Black to deepen the outer corner and the lower lashline. Tightlined using the Colourpop black gel liner.

I finished the look by smoking out the lower lash line with Pop Culture by Makeup Geek

Here’s the final look. I kept the rest of the make up relatively low key.

What do you guys think? I think this would be a great date night or going out look. I am obsessed with the Stila Magnificent Metals and might pick up one or two other colors, maybe an everyday color.

Do you see yourself picking up one of these shades? Which ones are you loving? I’d love to know!
