Simple Glam with Tarte

I LOVE makeup. But I especially love eyeshadow and eyeshadow palettes. There is just something about the different finishes and plethora of colors that I am drawn too. I could never have enough palettes. I can’t believe it took me so long to pick up the Tarte Tarteist Pro palette!

I don’t know why I ignored this palette for so long. But I was in Ulta picking up some staples when I walked past a Tarte display. I couldn’t help but swatch this palette and was completely blown away with how creamy these shadows were and I didn’t hesitate to pick up this palette.

I love the way this palette is set up. There are four different rows that have four mattes and one shimmer. This allows you to create such cohesive looks without having to think how to pair colors together. Of course you can always pair the shadows together however you choose.

The shadows themselves are so buttery. The mattes remind me a lot of my Lorac Pro palettes. They are so smooth, blend like a dream, and are very pigmented. They do have a bit of a dust up when you dip your brush into them, but that doesn’t bother me. The shimmer/metallic shadows are equally blendable and pigmented.

Top to Bottom: Classic, Innocent, Whimsy, Smoked, Ethereal
Top to Bottom: Vintage, Fierce, No Filter, Vamp, Glam
Left to Right: Chic, Profesh, Mod, Drama, Minx
Left to Right: Indie, Bold, Edgy, Punk, Trendy

To show off the palette I used the second row of shadows only.

Fierce in the crease
No Filter on the outer V
Glam on the lid and on inner lower lashline. Vamp in the very outer corner and along lower lashline

Final look with mascara

I think this look is a great subtle everyday glam look. Appropriate for work, brunch, or really anything!

I can’t wait to create even more looks with this palette, I’m so in love with it. Tarte knocked it out of the park with this one.
