Multi-Masking with Peter Thomas Roth

Hello! Sorry for my short hiatus. I was in a good friends wedding and was out of town for almost a week and last week my allergies went into overdrive and I could barely get out of bed. Sorry for the lack of post, I promise regular posts will be back, starting now!

When it comes to skincare I can sometimes get a little lazy. I buy products with the best of intentions but sometimes do not use them regularly. But the one skincare item I love dearly are masks. Clay masks, sheet masks, peel masks – I love them all.

Most of the ones I have are very affordable, i.e. drugstore. But I’ve been eyeing this little Peter Thomas Roth sampler kit from Sephora for a while. Peter Thomas Roth masks are well known and loved but for the most part very outside of my budget. One full sized mask retails between $52 to $80. So for $25 this little sampler kit was right up my alley.

Inside you get 6 of his best selling masks. They all contain .47 oz of product.

Cucumber Gel Mask

Irish Moor Mud Purifying Black Mask

Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask

Blue Marine Algae Intense Hydrating Mask

24K Gold Pure Luxury Lift & Firm Mask

Pumpkin Enzyme Mask

So far I have used the Irish Moor Mud mask twice and still have product left. So you get a good amount of product in each tube, this is not a use once and toss kind of deal.

I love the Irish Moor mask, I have semi-acne prone skin and this has really made my skin purge a little bit. Which for me can happen anytime I use a mud or clay mask. The once difference I did notice with this mask was when I washed it off, my skin did not feel tight like some mud or clay masks are prone to do.

The other one I have used so far is the Pumpkin Enzyme mask. This one is almost more like a scrub. You massage it into your skin to exfoliate and then you let it sit for about 3 to 7 minutes and rinse. This one worked nicely, I am currently using a different resurfacer (review to come) so I didn’t use this one enough to notice a difference. I will say that it did smell of pumpkin and I could have eaten it.

I can’t wait to try out the others in this set. This set is great if, like me, you wanted to try the Peter Thomas Roth masks without breaking the bank. Use it to find which mask you really like and splurge on just that one. This set also makes a really great gift. Mother’s Day is coming up. This would be perfect as part of a spa day gift.

Have any of you tried Peter Thomas Roth masks? Let me know down below!
