4th of July

Hello! I can’t believe 4th of July is tomorrow! The Fourth is one of my favorite holidays. Its usually a holiday spent outside, grilling, and hanging with friends. But like other holidays, it makes me want to get a little creative with my make up. So keep reading to see my semi-creative 4th of July look!

This may not be the most wearable look to your family’s BBQ but I had fun doing it.

I put tape along my eye so that at the end I would have a nice sharp line.

I used a simple matte neutral brown in the crease just to help the blue to blend out.

I used Midnight Blue, from the Loreal Infalliable line in the inner and outer corner.

To finish the halo look, I used Mystic on the center of my lid.

Next I used NYX white eyeliner to create a wing (the tape makes this so easy). This white eyeliner is not my favorite. Its opaque but it cracks.

I used the same steps on my lower lash line as well. Midnight Blue on the inner and outer lash line, Mystic in the center. Added mascara.

I originally added a white/icy to the inner corner, but I didn’t feel like that was enough so I added the blue shade from the Kat Von D Alchemist palette on top.

Here’s the completed look! I added a red glitter lip for that pop of red!

Whatcha all think? This is what I love about makeup. You can have so much fun and be creative and just wash it all off at the end of the day.

Hope you all have a wonderful, fun, and safe 4th of July!
