June Favorites

Holy cow. How is it July?! Sometimes it feels like time is just speeding by! Keep reading to see what I was loving this past month!

June was a busy month. I don’t think I had a free weekend, you know you’re busy when you have to literally schedule friend time. I haven’t done a monthly favorites post before but since they are some of my favorite video’s to watch and blog posts to read, I thought I would share my own faves!

Face favorites: I’ve been LOVING the Wet n’ Wild Photofocus Foundation. I have a whole post about this foundation (here) and it has been my tried and true this past month. June was unusually hot and this foundation definitely held up against the heat! Another hot weather must have is a oil control setting spray. The Urban Decay De-Slick setting spray will really hold up in the heat and really helps control my oily t-zone. My latest drugstore faves have been the Lash Paradise and the Vivid Hot Lacquer in the shade Too Cute. Check out my previous posts about these products, here and here.

Palette Favorite: The Tarte  Make Believe in Yourself. I don’t know if I’ve ever used such a colorful palette so much before. I have been reaching for this non-stop. These shadows are such a great formula, so pigmented, and so easy to wear. I can’t stop loving this palette.

Hair Favorites: Verb. I discovered this line at Sephora a while back when I was looking for a leave in treatment for my hair. Something that was nourishing but wasn’t going to weigh my hair down. I tried the Verb Leave In Mist and fell in love. Its nourishing, de-tangles, and helps prep the hair for styling. When I ran out I didn’t repurchase it right a way, I bought something else to try. But I went back to the Verb. Its a literal game changer for me. I usually bounce around with hair products but this has reached Holy Grail status.

I also have fallen in love with the Verb Ghost Oil. Since I bleach my hair and heat style it, my hair can get a little on the dry side so I like to keep a hair oil on hand. This one is great. Conditions my ends and helps keep flyaways at bay and gives my hair that added shine I love without leaving any greasiness behind.

Brushes. Now I know there can be drama surrounding the Morphe brand, but I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience with them. I’ve bought several of their brushes over the years and I’ve never had a problem with them. If you are on a budget or if you just don’t want to spend $30+ on one brush then check out Morphe.

My current faves are the M439, perfect for blending foundation flawlessly (it works so well with the Wet n Wild foundation). The M518 and M573 have been my go to for eye looks. Before these brushes my only great blending brush was the Mac 217 (which is still great) but I needed more brushes. These blend out everything perfectly, and they’re not scratchy.

Body Fave: Coco Shea Cucumber aloe gel lotion. This has been a god send this past month. With being outdoors more often my skin has been drier then normal and this lotion has been perfect. Its so moisturizing without being heavy, especially in the heat.

So these products pretty much round out what I’ve been loving this past month. These have all earned a spot in my collection and will most likely be repurchased in the future.

What are some of your favorites? I’d love to know, let me know in the comments!

Thanks for stopping by!
