More Nudes Please

A few weeks ago Maybelline expanded their SuperStay Matte Ink range with 10 new “un-nude” shades. This is by far my favorite drugstore lipstick formula, so I was ecstatic that they expanded the shades (and I hope they bring out even more!) I picked up most of the shades to review and swatch.

Maybelline came out with 10 new shades and I managed to pick up 6 shades. At this time they are not out in stores yet but I was able to order them online at Ulta. If you’re interested in any of the existing colors check out my previous review and swatches, here.

No surprise the packaging and applicator as the same as the rest of the line. The formula is the same as well. I found all the shades to be opaque and went on very nicely. Like the original release they wore well throughout the day and lasted at least 10 hours.

The shades I picked up range from the lightest nudes, a mauvy nude, a warm brown nude, a muted berry, and a grayish lavender.

Swatched from top to bottom are: Driver (55), Poet (60), Seductress (65), Fighter (75), Ruler (80), and Visionary (95).

These are beautiful shades and are just as great as the first release in this line. If you haven’t tried this line from Maybelline I really encourage you to. Maybelline is killing it right now with all of their new releases, they are the drugstore brand I watch for. Next up I really want to try their new SuperStay foundation.

What are some drugstore releases that you are excited for? I hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas and Holiday season.
