I got this super fuzzy and comfy sweater from Express back in November but the color of it inspired this makeup look. I love that some clothing companies had lighter and pastel shades this winter, it made my winter wardrobe a bit more lively. And yes, I am that person that will coordinate their makeup to the outfit they have on.
For this look I used the Marc Jacobs Wild One palette that was limited edition for the holiday season. But I think you could recreate this look with similar shadows.
Here’s a swatch of most of the shades that I used.
I started with Nine Lives and blended that into my crease. Side note: Nine Lives is probably my favorite shadow ever. On my skin tone it shows up as a very neutral light brown and I use it to start so many eye looks that I need to find a dupe for this because I’ve almost hit pan.
Next up I used Chameleon on the inner and outer corner of my eyes. This is a beautiful plummy shade but has a hint of red to it. I find the more I blend it and mess with it, it will lighten up and almost takes on a pinkish hue.
Then I applied Sheepish on the center of my lid. This is a very frosty pinky-lavender shade. I also smudged Chameleon on the lower lash line.
I lined my water line since the eye look is so light just to give my eyes some definition. Applied some mascara and done! I used the shade Prism from my Cover FX Perfect Highlighting palette to highlight my inner corner and brow bone to give it an ethereal look.
I’m pleased with how this look turned out. I wore this to a bridal showcase and I got so many compliments on my makeup that day! I love looks like this because they are pretty easy but have a lot of wow factor.
Happy Friday y’all!
