Throwback Thursday | Subtle Grey

I have another installment for my #tbt series, this time using the Lorac Pro 2 palette. I did a post using the OG Lorac Pro palette if you want to check that out (here). This time I was inspired to do a cool tone, subtle grey look. Keep scrolling to check it out!

I love Lorac’s eye shadow formula, with the exception of that terrible Brunch palette, I’ve never had a bad experience with their shadows. They are creamy and soft and blend like a dream. The Lorac Pro 1 & 2 palette are perfect beginner palettes.

The Lorac Pro 2 is a more cool toned palette with great every day shades and colors that easily coordinate. Creating a look is never too hard.

Starting with a bare eye I buffed a little bit of Light Brown in my crease.

Then I used a smaller blending brush to blend Cool Gray into the lower crease and a little on the outside corner of my lid.

I applied Chrome all over my lid. This color is very interesting because it looks one way in the pan but applies a little differently. It has a bit of a brown undertone to it.

Using a pencil brush I smudged Plum, which is a great matte medium purple shade, on my lower lash line. I then extended that line and connected it to my top lash line and created a smoked out wing with it. Keeping it very soft.

Applied some mascara.

I used Beige to highlight my brow bone.

I kept the rest of this look very soft as well.

What are some older palettes that you still use and love? With all the constant newness of makeup, sometimes its easy to forget those older palettes or other makeup items and they sit there forgotten.
