Needing a little inspiration for St. Patrick’s day? Whatever the holiday I love to match my makeup. For me its a fun way of celebrating a holiday even if you can’t go full out. These looks would be perfect if your going out with friends or just enjoying a pint of Guinness at a local pub. One of these looks is a bit deeper and smokier, the other is a bit more fun and lively with a pop of glitter.
First I used the shades Take a Memo and We’ll See for my transition shades in my crease.
Then I packed Enviously all over the lid. I also used a small blender brush to buff the edges.
For the wow factor I used a small eyeliner brush and some Mac Fix+ to wet the shade Pleather Python. I used that to create a small winged out liner. I also used We’ll See on my lower lash line.
Lastly I used the shade Next Season to highlight the inner corner and brow bone.
I’m really excited with how this look turned out. The deep smokey green paired with the bright gold of the liner. Even though the green shade is a bit dark, I do think it could be day time wearable.
First I used a combo of Silk Creme and Pooter for my transition shade. Honestly this is probably my most common used combo from this palette. I use these two shades for EVERYTHING.
Next I used Enchanted for the outer corner and to give some depth. This is a very dark blackened green shade.
Next I primed my lid with a bit of glitter glue and used my finger to pack on the shade Lightyear from the Moondust palette.
I also used Enchanted on my outer lower lash line and used Lightyear on the inner part of my lash line, blended it out with Silk Creme and Pooter.
Highlighted with Beam from the Jaclyn Hill palette and added liner and mascara.
I’m super pleased with how these came out. I personally love green eyeshadow and wear it lots of other times of the year. What are your plans for St. Patrick’s Day? Going out with friends, pub crawl, or staying in? This year I think we are staying in and I plan on making corned beef and cabbage, my favorite.
Whatever your plans I hope you have a great weekend!
