I Dream a Dream

Last week I raved about the two Nabla Cosmetics palettes I picked up. This post is Part Two featuring two great looks from the Dreamy Palette.

If you haven’t checked out my full review on the Dreamy palette, click here. Nabla is an indie Italian brand that is cruelty free and almost all of their products are Vegan as well. They got a lot of buzz on Instagram which is where I first saw the Dreamy palette and those purple shades just spoke to me. But this palette is so versatile! Here is a little recap of what the palette looks like.

I wanted to create two looks, one that was a little bit more day time and the second one a bit more smokey. So lets just get to it.

Look One

First I started with a bit of Senorita on the inner and outer corner and crease. This shade looks much more intimidating in the pan, but I used a very light hand and as it blended out it sheered out.

Next I used Sistina to help blend the outer edges of Senorita.

Next I smudged Senorita on the lower lashline and blended it out with Sistina. Mimicking the same effect on the bottom as we have on the top.

Then I used my finger and pressed Byzantine onto the center of my lid.

Added winged liner to help frame the eyes and finished with mascara.

Look Two

I started with the shade Illusion in the crease and really blended that out. Illusion is the lightest brown in the palette and might look to dark to start with but it blends out so nicely.

Next I used Lullaby and blended that out into the lower crease and outer corner. Over Illusion it doesn’t appear very lavender but it just helps add a little something to the crease.

Next I used concealer to help create a base for Delirium. This shade is the Pearl shade in the palette and is a bit chunkier then the other shades.

Then I used my finger to press Delirium into the concealer I placed down. I also tightlined my eyes using a black gel liner. I used a small pencil brush to smudge Inception on my lower lashline.

I used Dogma to deepen out the outer corner of my eye. And smudged a bit of it on the lower outer part of my lashline.

I then highlighted my inner corner and brow bone with Immaculate and added mascara.

The finished look.

There are so many looks you can create with this palette. If you recreated the first look you could substitute Vanitas for Byzantine and it would have more of a peachy vibe to it. Metal Cupid would be beautiful paired up with the purples in the palette. Lullaby would be gorgeous just all over the lid for a totally matte look.

Which look would you wear more? Look One or Two, let me know!

Have a great weekend!
