My good friends Kate and Devin over at DAM Good Food recently went to Europe for their honeymoon. Kate was kind enough to pick me up a few goodies for me while they were in France and Italy. Also check out their blog for some great recipes that also happen to be gluten free!
Kate was so kind to pick up a few things for me while in Europe. All of these are brands I’ve heard of before, but are a little bit more difficult to get in the States. Either you can only get them online or through a third party website. Its also a little fun to have packaging that is in a different language like the two products she picked up in Paris.
First up is the Bioderma face wash. Bioderma became well known in the states because they were really the first ones to come out with a micellar water, but it was notoriously difficult to get a hold of. This face was is for sensitive skin, is a gentle gel cleanser, and will help keep your skin hydrated. I haven’t used this yet but I think it will be perfect come winter time when I need a bit more hydration.
Klorane is easier to find here in the States, both Ulta and Sephora carry it. Since I have color treated hair, Kate thought this Leave In Cream with Pomegranate sounded right up my alley. I’ve only used this one time so far but I really liked it. I’ll have to use it a bit more before I can give it a full review, but I love trying new hair products and I’m a sucker for anything that promises to make my hair shiny!
While in Italy, Kate picked up two items from the brand Kiko! The first one is a lipgloss from the Jelly Jungle line in this VIBRANT pink shade, Refreshing Strawberry. This is a very sticky gloss, so if you don’t like that then stay far away from this one. The second item from Kiko is one of their Gold Waves Metallic Eyeshadow in the shade Decorative Copper. This is a liquid eyeshadow and they mean liquid. This is such a beautiful shade and product but my one complaint is that it leaks. After the first time you use it, product builds up in the threads of the lid and it just gets everywhere! But it’s so pretty I can’t be that mad at it.
This is my little European haul! Do you have any European products that you use and love? I’m always down to try something new, even if its a little hard to get a hold of!
